Free Animal Search & Recovery
Lost Animals
Losing a pet or livestock is distressing. Stratus Intelligence deploys thermal and optical drone assets to rapidly cover large areas of land, woodland, and farmland — locating animals day or night when ground searches alone aren't enough.
We offer goodwill support to pet owners searching for a missing animal. If you've exhausted ground searches and need aerial assistance, call us — we'll do everything we can to help.
Thermal Detection of Animals
Our DJI Matrice 4T thermal camera detects the body heat of animals in darkness, through undergrowth, and across open fields. Dogs, cats, horses, and livestock all produce heat signatures clearly visible from the air.
Cover Ground Faster
A single drone sortie can survey hundreds of acres in minutes — far beyond what a ground search party can cover. We use systematic grid-search patterns to ensure thorough coverage of the search area, leaving no blind spots.
Night and Low-Light Operations
Many animals are more active after dark and harder to find in low light. Our thermal platform operates effectively at night, giving search teams a significant advantage when daylight searches have drawn a blank.
Real-Time Coordination
Our pilots relay live video to search coordinators on the ground, allowing immediate direction of teams to any animal located from the air. GPS coordinates can be shared instantly to guide the recovery.

DJI Matrice 4T — Thermal Platform
Our primary search asset. The Matrice 4T's high-sensitivity thermal camera detects animal body heat through vegetation, hedgerows, and in complete darkness — covering ground that foot searches simply cannot match.
GPS Coordinates Shared Instantly
The moment an animal is spotted from the air, our pilot can share precise GPS coordinates with your recovery team on the ground — cutting the time between detection and reunion to a minimum.
